Murder on West Main
Foster, I. M.
When Colin Brissedon discovers his new boss murdered, all eyes turn to him. After all, his drinking has put him at odds with the man and he was on the verge of being dismissed. His sister Kathleen knows he has his faults, but unable to believe him capable of such a heinous crime, she turns to the local coroner's assistant Doctor Daniel O'Halleran for help.
Daniel agrees with her assessment of the situation, though proving it is not going to be easy, even if more than a few people had reason to wish him dead. To make matters worse, Kathleen is once more intent on conducting her own investigation despite his wishes, and he fears the consequences could be deadly.
Yet, with all the puzzle pieces laid before him, he still can’t shake the feeling that something is missing, an integral clue that will tie everything together. Will he be able to discover the elusive detail behind the gruesome murder? Or will the guilty party escape to kill again?
