The Reformation of Nate Adare

A teacher’s worst nightmare, Nate Adare is a bully, an opportunist, a cheater, a manipulator...all things considered, just bad news. His father’s imprisonment has fed a rage inside the eighteen-year-old. The chip on his shoulder has grown to firewood-size proportions. After ten years, Nate’s rationalizes that his father is a loser and so are just about all the authority figures in his life. An ailing mother and a sensible girlfriend provide the only anchor to keep Nate from being washed out by the waves of a wasted life, but he threatens his relationship with his girlfriend with his own boorish behavior. Now, a series of bizarre events unlocks a genetic code that may alter his future in ways no one can imagine. Nate learns that while he’s not responsible for his heritage, his present actions will guide his future.
