Florent Bainier is a French author who began writing during a trip around the world, the landscapes of which inspired his first novel. Fascinated by archaeology, travel, and the discovery of other cultures, he enriched his knowledge by attending courses at the École du Louvre, in order to lend credibility to his narrative by adding numerous historical details. Thus, the various nations that populate his literary universe borrow traits from civilisations that have marked the history of humanity, such as the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Egyptians, the Scythians, the Incas, and many others, both in their artistic characteristics and their religious or military features. At the same time, in recent years he has become interested in phenomena related to near-death experiences and evidence of the survival of the soul after death, using research into these topics as a springboard for his plots.
