"Lapwing" - a New Historical Feature Film Release from Director Philip Stevens

New historical feature film release - today, July 19th

"Lapwing"

In 1555 rural England, a mute young woman from an isolated community is thrust into a violent and vicious psychological battle with its leader when she pursues a relationship with an outsider.

The film is directed by Philip Stevens and written by Laura Turner, with Hannah Douglas, Emmett J. Scanlan, Sebastian De Souza and Sarah Whitehouse starring.

Thank you to Indiana Tarrant from Bulldog Distribution, a film distribution company based in Brighton for allowing The Historical Fiction Company an early release viewing of the movie to promote to all of the HFC members and subscribers.

We highly recommend the film and urge everyone to check out the film, out now in selected cinemas and on demand.
